Equipped with the latest maritime technology, the Wellcraft 222 is a testament to efficiency and reliability. From advanced navigation systems to specialized fishing equipment, every detail is designed to enhance your experience on the water.

The Wellcraft 222 is known for its performance on the water and is often characterized by a reliable hull design and efficient propulsion systems that provide a smooth and comfortable ride. The hydraulic steering system ensures smooth and effortless control of the boat with a Maximum power 250 hp. The top is speed 34.76 knots (144kmh or 40mph) and the cruising speed is 26.07 knots (108kmh OR 30mph). With a fuel capacity of 390 liters (103 gal), we have no problem going far offshore up to a maximum of 40 nautical miles offshore (75km).

When daylight gives way to night, the Wellcraft 222 is transformed into an exceptional vessel for night fishing. The special equipment ensures an extraordinary experience when you experience the nocturnal wonders of the sea by moonlight.

TECHNOLOGY

Our Wellcraft 222 is equipped with the Garmin Airmar B175. This 1 kW CHIRP transducer operates in a frequency range of 85–135 kHz and enables us to detect fish at depths of up to 500 meters in high resolution. We can not only see schools of fish in detail, but also submerged structures.

The Garmin GMR Fantom 18 is a 40 W radar with a range of 48 nautical miles. (89km) It uses MotionScope technology to detect moving targets and mark them in different colors. This helps to avoid collisions, find flocks of birds and track weather formations.

The Garmin AIS 800 is an AIS transponder (Automatic Identification System) that automatically provides other ships and coastal authorities with information about our boat. The transponder transmits the most important ship data, including position, speed and course.

Our Wellcraft 222 is not only equipped with a Garmin VHF radio, but we also have a Garmin GPS 8410 XSV on board. This 10″ Full HD IPS touchscreen offers great viewing angles and readability, even in sunlight and with polarized glasses.

Whether you’re interested in Deep Sea Trolling, Inshore Trolling, Jigging or Popping the Wellcraft 222 is ready for any challenge. With its high sides, the Wellcraft 222 provides a greater security and when fishing in rough sea with big swells. The fishing rods can be safely stowed in the Gunwale storage space. With the fully self-draining cockpit an the raw water wash-down system makes we can easily make quick work of any fish scales that wind up on the floor of the boat.
